Spiral life-like tessellations are not that common due to the inability to easily stack slices and make an image that is recognizable. This is a single spiral of an owl motif I had originally created as a double spiral. I chose the single spiral for this image to simplify it and allow the viewer to easily see the progression. I used black and white to make the slices discernable and a little more graphic.
