Oil Paintings, Plein Air, Prints, Hand Drawn Tessellations

In the summer of 2024 we stayed in Venice two days before we set out on a cruise ship for a week to several destinations in the Adriatic and Mediterranean. This was the view out our hotel window. I decided to paint it because of the color contrast of the yellows, greens, reds and the blue sky.

I added myself to the roof on an adjacent balcony for scale.
