Early Evening View Along the Arno River, Florence

Bridge Over Arno River

This view is along the Arno River in Florence as shadows are cast in early evening. Its similar to another painting I made several months ago but a different angle and lower on the horizon. The photo reference is from 2002. The blue-green color of the river and the warmth of the building contrast with the purple of the sky. A thunderstorm is rolling in. I’ll post a few stages in its development.
